Vehicle Detail

1970's Honda Mini Trail 50 (upgraded new larger engine) Upgraded engine to a new aftermarket 86cc one by previous owner's motorcycle mechanic. They guy seemed to know what he was talking about.I purchased it from previous owner about a year ago so don't know much history aside that it has been in my garage and I wish I had somewhere to take it to drive around.I still live in Carlsbad (Southern California) so I only get the chance to drive it once a week to get the mail from our shared garage to the community mailbox and around the block a few times.I am selling because I need the garage space. I purchased a "project" car and I've been having fun working on that. Runs very strong. It is slightly heavier than stock because of the bigger motor. Tires - New. Hold pressure well.Brakes - Work great. Both foot and hand brake.Engine - New aftermarket. It still needs broken in and to be run consistently.Handlebars - Fold down nicely. Has kill switch button, but not connected.Foot-pegs - Great.Gas tank - No dents. No rust. Has some sort of goop inside tank I think to make it so it doesn't rust.Paint - Flawless red with some sparkle. Great clear coat.Fenders - Rear has been cut slightly but chrome looks good.Seat - Like new. Seems comfortable. No rips. There is no battery, and there isn't supposed to be.Foot clutch 3 gears seems to work well.Kill switch - Broken so i took it off and put on a button one (not pictured) but didn't connect it.Kickstand - Goes up and down well. Wish it was longer. For you to do to make it perfect if desired:- connect engine wiring to kill switch and to headlight. Wires are there, but not connected.- clean out carburetor- buy new handlebar knobs, as the ones that are on it work but are chipped- buy a rear tail-light.- get a nice decal for the gas tank.- angle the seat back a little bit somehow for comfort Of note, this does not have tail-light and is not legal to drive on the street with other cars. It is meant for off-road use so doesn't have a title. You will get a bill of sale. With the handlebars folded down it fit's in the back seat of my 2010 Toyota Prius. Two people are needed to lift it in though. Great mini-bike that will only go up in value over the next few years. I wish I had more garage space and somewhere to ride. Very very clean and well taken care of, but almost 40 years old, so not show-room new. Any questions, please don't hesitate to e-mail, call, or text me. Respectfully, Jimmy dritaliano@yahoo.com(760) 521-0124 Shipping: You arrange. I will not crate. Pick-up in person suggested. I'll work with car transport service if you want regarding pick-up.Payment: Cash or paypal. $100 deposit within 2 days of auction end. No checks.Where I am: Carlsbad, California 92010
