Vehicle Detail
This is a 2-owner car, solid, completely rust free, never wrecked, all original body panels and floor pans. All lights and gauges work well, this car runs and drives as good as any you will find. The paint is very slick and panel gaps are quite good but the bumpers have a few dings. The bench seat interior is also in nice condition needing only a few bits to make it excellent. Currently outfitted with a 327 engine and super T-10 4-speed transmission this little deuce began life with a humble 6 cylinder and 3-speed manual trans. While its original equipment may not be desirable to most enthusiast, its remarkable rust-free condition is. Sold new in New Mexico it remained there with its first careful owner until 1984. The second owner (also a N.M. resident) kept the car in its original paint and factory drive-train as his weekend driver. He relocated to California in 1986 and then on to North Carolina in 1996. In 2001 the 327 was rebuilt and installed and the car was painted in 2007. I have a copy of the original New Mexico title, a stack of receipts dating back to 1986, and a few of the original parts with the car. These Nova’s are easily modified with an almost endless variety of bolt on upgrades, so why not start your next project without all the rust and wrecked issues?
