Hello, I am selling my 1972 Charger project that I am never going to get to, I got it exactly the way it is. It is a very clean solid core to start with to make an awsome Charger! I have included many pictures including pictures of the underside showing how clean and rust free the unibody / torque boxes and floors are. The entire underside of the car is super solid, simply strip and paint, no new metal needed! The front fenders are also clean! No rust that I could find in front or back sides of the fenders. The doors do have a little rust on the bottoms, but I was able to find another set of doors from down south that I am willing to sell to the winning bidder for extra. The trunk lid is also clean. The entire area around both the front windsheild and rear window (under the trim area) are solid as per the pictures! The entire engine bay area is very solid, just needs to be cleaned / striped and painted no need to replace any metal. The only rust issue that I can find is dog leg in the front of the rear quarter panel (Rocker area between the rear wheel and the door on both sides) seems to be a common issue on these cars, but they do make the full rear quarters or patch panels for this car. The car appears to be pretty complete including the hidaway headlights. There is a trunk ful of misc trim / seat belts etc (See pictures). I have also included pictures of the trunk floor showing how solid they are and around the inner wheel tub area. The car currently has a V8 in it, (I think it is a 318 but not sure), I was told that it is not a Numbers matching car, I was told that it was originally a 6 cyclinder car? It has a V8 small block for sure now, and a 3 speed manual transmission. easy conversion to 4spd, which was my plan. The car comes with the Keystone rims and tires that are shown in most of the pictures, but I do have a set of Magnum 500's that are in pretty good shape, they can also be purchased for extra from the winning bidder for extra. The car does run and drive, (I drove it up on the trailer to save space in the garage), but the car really needs to be gone over before really hitting the road, (At least I would). I also have the super Bee hood that will go with the car, all that I have for the hood is what is shown, do not have the center section. Car must be picked up locally in Michigan, will not ship, any shipping arrangments you will be responsible for, I can help to get it loaded, but that is it. $500 deposit required within 2 days through Paypal, and balance of Payment and pick up due within 5 days of auction end. Balance of car is to paid in cash at pick up. Car will not be released until all funds have cleared. Let me know if you have any questions. The two pictures that I am adding are of the drivers side, as I can not get to the passenger side since it is on the trailer against the wall, but it looks the same. It looks like who ever replaced the carpet years ago, also cleaned up the inside of the floor? the underside still looks like it is 40 years old, but no rust issues. looks to me like I would simply blast and paint, I do not see any floor areas that need to be replaced.
