1978 Mercedes-Benz 6.9 The Mercedes-Benz 6.9 is a high performance version of the S-Class luxury saloon. It was built on it's own assembly line and based on the long-wheelbase version of the W116 chassis introduced in 1972. This Mercedes-Benz 6.9 is a work of art and has been well cared for by it's owner and stored in a heated garage for several years. The vehicle has been ran and moved weekly. Mechanicaly it's in sound condition with no known mechanical issues. The exterior is excellant condion too. Much care has been given to the interior as it shows no sign of wear and only one blemish (a small crack on the dash). The speedo was replaced at 68,000 miles (We have the paper work) currently the speedo shows 59,666 miles.
