No accident history, damage free  body, great paint and superb interior. Vehicle  starts, drives and functions like brand new.   Everything works, nothing is broken. Recent  service includes new timing belt/tensioners, new rear  brake pads, new oil pan/valve cover gaskets and  synthetic oil change. The Owners' Note Every  Wednesday I attend a small "dealer only" auction at Carmax  here in Las Vegas. The vehicles there are recent trades  and direct purchases from the original owners either  from here in the Las Vegas or from Southern California  Carmax locations. Carmax has a policy that states,  if a car is 9 years old or older (no matter what the  miles are, low or not), has been modified, or is newer  and has over 100k miles, those cars must be sold at  their "dealer only" auction. These cars are not available  to the public. So, I get a list of these cars on  Tuesday and head down to look over the inventory for the  cream of the crop. I am very exclusive with what I  buy. I specifically look for cars that were  obviously extremely well cared for, to a degree that may  be classified as anal retentive. I look for rarity and  those cars that are hard to come by (or at least hardly  ever see) but they all have to be EXTREMELY unique in  quality and condition. The car must give me that feeling  that it's a "One Of A Kind". When you look close at this  car, you'll see what I mean. So,  why did I buy this 2002 Lexus LX470? 98k Low  Miles, Stellar Condition and...it's a Lexus. When you  go online day in and day out and you see these cars with  double and triple this mileage and they still are a  useful reliable bulletproof world renouned SUV, it's  just a "got to own it" vehicle with this condition and  mileage. In addition to that, I pretty much buy every  low mileage LX470 or Toyota Landcruiser I can get my hands on because I  understand the owners mindset for these great cars, I've  personally owned many of them. Like this one, they've  all been cream puffs that have given me years of  reliable service with very low maintenance costs and  resale values; even with high mileage it was fantastic  compared to other brands. The first key to owning one  will be to find it in this condition. Babied by it's  original owner, maintained to perfection, serviced as  recommended by Lexus and then brought to you like we  do...fully ready for the road and beautiful from bottom  to top. For the average driver, this car could easily  serve another 10 years and still have a reasonable  resale. Net to you? Super low cost of ownership. For an  example, with a current book value of just over $24k and  with junk used cars selling these days for over 5 to 10  thousand dollars, ten years from now if this cars  resells for 10-12k it will have cost only about $1000+/- a  year for the initial cost of the car. Try! Just Try  buying a new car for that kind of cost per year these  days. That makes this car intelligent to buy! Simply why  I buy them too. As  for the deal, it seems like every "auction" I post on  eBay, I get asked what "my asking price is" or what "my  reserve is" and I do my best to remind my potential  buyers that eBay is an auction...high bid might win the  car...even if it doesn't reach my reserve. I am here to  make the deal with buyers that are willing to bid or  make offers. It's your money that talks, believe me. Put  the pressure on me with your best offer, or call me.
