Vehicle Detail
Hello and thanks for looking! Up for offer is a nice 1996 Volvo 850 GLT. I have owned this car for two years and has proved very reliable, comfortable and great in the snow! This one has the rare fog lights in the front bumper and the factory spoiler. This would have been a fully loaded model aside from not having the turbo. NO check engine light or dash lights on. The body is excellent with minimal dings and scratches, NO rust! The inside is nice and clean, typical wear on drivers bolster and some cracking leather. I have only driven this car minimally, store, around town etc. When I purchased this car, the odometer had the typical broken gear which I had fixed and works fine now. This Volvo has all working power options including windows, sunroof, locks, drivers seat, heated seats, cruise, traction control and two original sets of keys with keyless entry fobs (only one pictured). All manuals, original floor mats that are nice, radio code, spare tire, jack and tools are there too. The front tires are Bridgestone Blizzaks with tons of tread and the rears are both newer with lots of tread as well. This car does not look like a car that fell into the hands of a teenage driver. I have not driven this car much in the last year and there are a few things that need to be addressed. The car needs a new battery, but I will have a new one installed before it is picked up. There is a leak in the exhaust at a joint in the middle of the car that will need welded, I did install new brackets but it also needs welded. There is a noise coming from the rear drivers side wheel, not sure if it is a warped rotor (Cheap) or a bearing (Cheap if you do it yourself). Minor (to me) items that could be addressed are the A/C is not kicking on, could use new trunk struts. I repainted the spoiler, it was really bad, I sanded it, painted and clear coated it but didnt wet sand and buff it out, doesn't look perfect but 100x better than it was. I have tried to state everything I know right or wrong with the car and I have anything else I remember or someone asks about I will be sure to post it. Please feel free to ask any questions, I want the new owner to be happy! lakehousewv Store
