1978 malibu street/strip drag car. its a Landau body, all fabrication work has been professionally done and is very high quality work. Body has been off frame, the frame was completely boxed, the back half was sliced to allow larger tires to fit, full 10 point cage done in moly, all professionally TIG welded, has bars that extend into engine bay and a dash crossbar behind the dash pad. new body and suspension bushings, all new front end components. Has aftermarket Ground Force 2" drop spindles with all new brakes. manual brake conversion. Adjustable Koni drag shocks front and rear, manual steering conversion, I have tons of extra stainless trim for the car including a lot of the expensive hard to find landau parts! most of the interior is gutted, has Kirkey alum race seat with cover, Grant wheel with tilt column, Autometer monster tach with shift light, B&M shifter, Griffen aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. 2" fiberglass pin on cowl induction hood. Aluminum fuel cell with sump mounted in trunk, carter electric fuel pump and filter, battery charging lugs and master cut off switch. fiberglass trunk lid mounted with Dzus fasteners and fiberglass rear bumper. Convo pro wheels with good MT slicks and in the front convo pro skinnys with MT tires. It has a Moser ford 9" rear end that has with back brace, aluminum pinion support, 35 spline Moser axles with a spool, Wilwood Dynalite 4 piston rear disk brakes, the rear end alone cost what I a asking for the whole car! tubular lower control arms, edelbrock adjustable upper arms, new springs with an airbag on the pas side. The car needs to be reassembled and glass put back in(will need new windshield). I have lots of extra parts as well as all the trim for it. everything shown in the pics for extra parts goes with it. the drivers side floor and tin work has all been done with a nice sturdy frame under it. the pass side will needs to be finished, i have the templates to do it, you can just do it very simply, no need for the elaborate floor bracing that was done on the drivers side. I Have a clear title for the car, will make an excellent easy project to have on the track this spring. the body itself is pretty much rust free, has some dings and dents here and there and will obvoiusly need paint to be pretty, black primer would make everything better lol. the nose is just loosely bolted on the car. Selling with a set of custom made SBC stepped racing headers that each tube car be removed seprately. No engine,trans, ignition system included. as shown will need to be wired, plumbed and general reassembly, GREAT PROJECT or will part out. I am sure to be forgetting some things so please ask questions, must be paid in full within 3 days and picked up within 2 weeks, no p-a-y p-a-l on this auction. ***will sell the rear end for 2k and will part the rest out if interested.***
