PROJECT OR PARTS CAR offered at NO RESERVE California two owner car. Overall appearance is very presentable. The car was repainted and the wood decal replaced by the original owner. The convertible top would need to be replaced. The engine was overhauled in 2005 and was not done right. The car will run but major repairs and expense would be required to be driveable again. The car is on non-op status with CA DMV and no fees are owed. I am listing this car for sale as alternative to sending a low production car to the junkyard. There is no rust on this car and it has been stored inside in Banning, CA since 2005. The car is sold as is without warranty. Buyer is responsible for shipping and shipper should be advised it is a non running vehicle. Payment by Paypal or cashiers check only. All funds must clear bank before car will be released. Must be picked up within 14 days of end of auction. On Jan-28-13 at 16:57:02 PST, seller added the following information: In order to answer the questions I have been getting about the car I took it out of storage to assess its current condition. I was able to start and drive the car. It now has fresh gas and will come with a near new battery. The brakes are spongy, but work. I now think it could be driven onto a transport truck without a problem. I have clear title to the car. The tires were new when stored. It has its original soft parade boot, an original style radio, owners manual and repair receipts all of which will go with the car. The trunk is clean and in near mint condition.
