This one of a kind jeep is in good condition at 94,xxx miles, and going up as I drive it daily. It has the 4 cylinder 2.2L engine in it. I'm the second owner, but have only had it for a short period of time, I recently acquired it from the original owner in a trade. The original owner is the home DIY mechanic type and he maintained this vehicle in good mechanical condition. The body has some rust on it but no worse than a typical northern Michigan vehicle, the paint still shines after a good wash, no dings, no dents, the white top is in perfect condition. There is a tennis ball size rust hole on the rear tub under the hinges of rear door above the muffler;, does not enter into the cab, only other rust is very minor spots on both front fenders.. The interior is in decent condition, the carpets have had husky liners on them since the day it came off the lot in 98. The top has NEVER been off it. Drivers door handle currently frozen from the weather...Drivers side door panal has a minor crack under window area, and the rubber piece on the shifter is not connected...All minor easy cheap fixes ***This Wrangler has NEVER been off-roading, NEVER 4-Wheeling; and it shows!!!**** I actually love this Jeep, it is a true head turner; I truly don't want to sell it but we need cash along with a bit more size; thats the wife speaking there if ya know what I mean. The previous owner had custom steel bumpers put on it that gives this Wrangler it's amazing unique look. It is loud, but sounds awesome, it has a straight pipe on it with a turbo exhaust, so its not extremely loud but gives it that tough sound. It has the wide flares for the wider tires, so you can put the wide tires on it. The tires on it have decent tread and even all the way around. The local mechanic gave this vehicle a full inspection, he checked the radiator, which is a steel (no plastic crap) radiator; original owner also installed an electric fan, with a switch on the dash. My mechanic also checked the front suspension, transmission, drive shaft, brakes and the engine.. It doesn't burn any fluids, drives straight as an arrow, shifts smooth as if it was new, the clutch is strong and responsive, all gears are real gentle and smooth. . The mechanic said everything looked in good condition. I've only noticed a few quirks; such as the drivers seat seems to be stuck so you can't tilt it forward to get into the back seat, I just use the passenger seat. Also when the engine is cold you have to give it a tiny amount of gas or it will stall, owner said its been like that for years. The shocks and struts look brand new. I would trust this amazing vehicle to get me cross country and back.
