We are selling our 2001 Volvo XC70. The car has 141,800 miles on it. The car is currently sitting in our driveway with what is *assumed* to be a need for a new alternator. We have not taken it to a repair shop as it is a third car and we are interested in selling as is. Whomever purchases it will need to have it towed to their location as it is currently not running. This vehicle is for sale *as is*. That said, it was an excellent vehicle and we replaced it with another Volvo. It has some cosmetic issues as you will see in the photos, but overall is in good shape. When we turned it off it needed to be jumped again.We have assumed that this car has an alternator issue because it needed to be jump started on several occassions before it eventually died once while it was being driven. That said, it has not been to a mechanic and we are not mechanics. We just can't guarantee that the alternator is, in fact, the problem. This car really needs to go to someone who is handy with cars.In addition to the mechanical issue, the car has some interior cosmetic issues and needs a new regulator in the driver's side door, the window is currently stuck in the up position. We replaced the regulator in the passenger door several months ago. The cover for the sunroof is also difficult to move and will need some TLC soon.We've never had any other issues with this car, aside from normal wear and tear on a vehicle of this age.Thanks for your interest.
