1981 Ford F350 Fire Service Response Work Repair Support Truck 460 cu in engine (7.3 Liter) NO Red Lights or Siren are included with this truck IAW Ebay requirements. (But replacements are available.) I am offering this truck, with all response equipment, at a Special Price to any Municipal or Volunteer Fire Department. This Old Fellow started his career as a Fire Department Support Truck in Southern Pennsylvania, and was retired from the Brushtown FD in 2005. I bought him on Ebay from a local Fire and Police vehicle dealer, and brought him to Mississippi to use as my personal Response Vehicle. I ran him all over Stone County for six years, and he still has the “Get Up and Go” to cover accidents and fires….but I don’t. So, it’s time to find Freddy (the Fire Truck) a new home. You will be getting a good drive train, good transmission and differential, brakes and tires. I drove him home all the way from Philadelphia six years ago, and have been tinkering and upgrading on him ever since. He has a 120 volt electrical panel and two 500 watt spotlights, and if you put a small generator in his Electrical Bay, you will have a great floodlight truck. A battery trickle charger is included. Thing One: This truck has a Ford 460 (7.3 liter) V8. It runs strong and smooth, but it is NOT a Prius !! This fellow will use some serious gasoline. Thing Two: 95% of the paint on the truck is just fine but there are some rust bubbles and rough spots; nothing a few hours, some Bondo, some sanding and a little red paint can't cure. I will include some good red paint. Thing Three: I am NOT including the Siren or the Motorola Two-Channel 50-watt radio. IF you are a bonafied First Responder, we can negotiate on those at a special price. Thing Four: This truck has 41,000+ actual miles on the odometer and as of TODAY, it runs just fine. But a 30-year old truck is still a 30-year truck. I offer NO guarantee, no warranty, no full refunds and no free towing. I am selling to the contiguous 48 states ONLY. A refundable $500 deposit is required at the close of the Auction. You have the right, on inspection, to CANCEL your purchase and the deposit will be refunded. Final Payment must be via Cashiers Check or similar funds. I will NOT be responsible for any costs you incur for travel to pick up this truck.
