Up for auction is this great VW Beetle project. It is a 1966. It is a great restoration project, there is work to be done, but it also has a lot of great qualities. There is very little rust, most of it being only on the rear seat pans. The door posts are complete and rustless which is rare for VW bugs. The car has no engine, so you have the liberty to put whatever suit you in there. This is definitely an ideal project, since there i svery little damage on the body, it has been worked on as you can see from my photos. The seats are in very good condition with only some wear. Both window reguator work fine, and it is only mising the windshields rear and front. The right rear fender that is cracked, can be replaced with the one that I have pictured. There really are a lot of pluses to this car, and it would make a great beginners project and there are just millions of things you can do with Volkswagens. The body on this bug is definitely a solid one, and although there is still work to be done, it will definitely be a great start. There are no major damages to the body, the original stereo was cut out, but this is a great opportunity for a project, and if you drop an engine in, it makes a great dail driver as well, especially with a 4 cylinder gas saver.
