1987 Mercedes diesel wagon. I am the second owner. I purchased it in 2008. All the previous carfax records are all Spicewood Texas (central hill country) going back to 1987. 523,000 well cared for miles. Not perfect but well preserved for the miles. Better than many older Mercedes with half the miles. Body is solid, not a rusty Northern car. Interior is in good condition. Headliner has no tears or sags. Dash has a couple fine hair line cracks, common. Carpets are clean. Leather seats, not MB Tex. Seats are all good except the left read seat bottom is starting to tear. Drivers is good but the very bottom of the seat comes loose from the seat pan sometimes, but is not torn anywhere. Tinted windows. power windows all work as does the sunroof. Power locks quit working and I have not messed with the door lock vacuum pump under the read seat. Newer C class wheels. New axles. SLS suspension does not leak. New SLS air cells. New head gasket, 603 engines are well know for blowing head gaskets at the #1 cylinder near an oil passage. It was just replaced so good for another few hundred thousand miles. It has a few quirks from age...could probably use a new neutral safety switch and ignition tumbler (they do wear out). has a trailer hitch. Third seat was removed for more storage space. All fluids serviced and changed regularly, trans, power steering, SLS, rear end, brake fluid. It's been a good soild car for me but I drive 100 miles to work everyday so I got a VW diesel.
