mrloyd Store 1978 Pure Enduro Suzuki PE175 *** Relisted with lower reserve and minor details added*** Bike is in very nice condition and is a true classic original. One owner, meticulously maintained Southern California/Arizona bike. Look at the pictures, you will notice that even the cotter pins on the levers and brake hardware still have the factory bend to them. This indicates a very low hour bike that has never been apart since it left the factory.Ebay asks for mileage but these bikes don't keep the mileage so I do not know the actual mileage.I have a clear California title for this bike. If you need specific information or pictures just ask. Details:Engine starts easily and runs strong. Compression feels strong. Clutch engages strongly and disengages smoothly. All gears shift clean. No cracks in Fenders or panels. Plastics have been restored with factory yellow Suzuki paint. There is very light cracking in the finish in a few small spots.Seat is in original excellent condition. Both Headlight and Taillight work correctly. Switches work perfect. Lenses on both are good. Wheels are in very good condition, straight and true. Forks are rust and leak free. Shocks have some spots on springs where paint has flaked off, very minor and work correctly. All cables and levers function very smoothly. Front tire is in good condition. Medium wear and no dry rot. Rear tire is in fair condition. No rot but fairly worn. The fuel tank has had a crack mended with epoxy. The crack was at the top and only leaked when fuel sloshed around.Exhaust and silencer are original and have no dents. Minor rust on the exhaust only near the engine joint. Very clean. Wheel and steering bearings operate smoothly and quietly. Chain and sprockets are in excellent condition. Brakes engage strongly and operate quietly. They are not adjusted very far out indicating plenty of life left on shoes. Chrome around headlight is in very good condition. All pedals, levers and more appear to be original. The only items I can see on this bike that are not original are the tires and fuel lines. Near all factory hardware is present, even the bolts with the suzuki logo on them. Frame is straight and has almost no wear except where boots rub the side. Almost no oil or debris under the engine. Doesn't look like the bike has ever had a leak or bottomed out hard. Bike is 100% complete with all items original from the factory. If you're looking for a classic enduro bike these were the best in their day and this one is super nice.
