Vehicle Detail

1957 Chevy Sedan Delivery 2 Door 'project' First a little background....We aquired this car from a long time friend. He purchased it from a local swap meet about 1 year ago. He heard it run at the time so he brought it home with intentions of restoring it but due to his health he is forced to let her go. I have an open Florida title. Now for the good and the bad, in no particular order. Motor wise--It has a fresh 350 completely rebuilt. Mallory ignition system. Mild cam. Holley 750 double pump carb. I was told the trans is a 700 R4 but not sure. Motor is bolted to the Trans. Flywheel is not bolted to the torque converter. To prevent damage to the trans. a hot wire was used to start this car. There is dual exhaust with cherry bomb glass packs under car. Other mechanicals it needs-- It will need a set of keys and Drive shaft. Things I have but need to be installed--Hood springs.Has a new master cylinder Body wise--The body work has been done and the car is in 2k primer but needs to be blocked before paint work. Floors are solid. Rockers in and out appear to have been replaced. Front bumper needs re chrome or replaced. Rear bumper center appears to have been replaced but the ends need re chromed or replaced. Door glass on both sides are cracked/need to be replaced. The rear glass is in but needs the gasket. Needs a front windshield and gasket. Needs an upper support bar. Trim pieces that are missing include rear quarter, top/bottom quarter panel insert trim, Hood rocket chrome. The car has no interior other than the two front bucket seats that are not bolted down. Frame is solid with only surface rust Has 15" corvette rally wheels Extras that will go with the car--Fuel tank, box of misc. parts. Face for gauge cluster and Wire harness. In conclusion, this car will need to be wenched upon a car trailer/carrier and towed to its new home. Car rolls very nice .Keep in mind it is a 56 year old car and is in no way perfect. To the best of my ability I have tried to list all possible things that are wrong with it. If you feel I have missed something please ask. If you live close enough and want to physically see the car just send me a message and I will gladly set up a time that is best for both of us. I will require a $1,000 deposit within 48 hours of the auctions closing. The remainder of payment will be due in full within 7 days of auctions closing. If paying by check it must clear before car or title will be released.I WILL NOT DISCLOSE WHAT THE RESERVE IS AS IT DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF HAVING ONE IN THE FIRST PLACE. I WILL SAY IT IS REASONABLE
