Here is an older but really nice conversion van. It has only 103k actual miles and less than 10k miles on a rebuilt and balanced and blue printed 351 cubic inch Windser engine. The engine has heavy duty forged pistons and rings with a power cam and 4 barrel Holly carberator on an aluminum manifold. The engine is bored .060 over. The crankshaft is .010 .010. under. The engine puts out an estimated 400 plus horsepower, so this van can run 80 or 90 mph all day. It uses no oil between oil changes and has allways had only Castrol GTS oil in it. I have been a mechanic with racing experience of over 50 years, and built the engine myself sparing no expense. All the machine work was done by a local machine shop specializing in high performance engines. It has just been tuned up and has a new alternator and rear brakes. The interior is almost like new except for normal wear on the carpets, which are in very nice condition also. It has interior mood lighting and a cloths rack in the back as well as a small cabinet. The rear bench seat folds down into a bed and the 4 captains chairs swivel and recline. There is also a small game table that sets between the front and mid seats that is removeable. The tires have less than 1k miles on them. The exterior paint is good, however the decals are not so good. The only really negative is it will need a new muffler and the ac does not cool well. May need just a service or a compressor. The compressor is noisey and has been for as long as I can remember. There is a small patch of rust just over the right rear wheel well, but other than that no rust. Because this is a 30 year old van I am selling it as is, but will consider any reasonable offer.
