Up for sale is my 1976 Toyota Land Cruiser. It is currently inspected and tags are up to date. I drive it about once a week and have never been offroading in it. I had purchased the truck from my cousins uncle out of Arizona, whom had owned it for about 10 years. It has the original 2F engine and drive train. He had been in the process of a restoration when I recieved it. He had done the drive train and rebuilt all the mechanical parts of the truck. I then took the truck and began to fix the old paint, and replaced door seals, top seals, mirrors, seat covers, recovered jump seats, and sanded the truck , which was rust free other than a little bit of surface rust in the bed. We sanded that down and added a sealer primer coat, three coats of regular primer, four base coats of Olive Brown code 653 and three clear coats. The truck has upgraded electronic ignition, disc brakes in front drum in rear. The engine rebuild according to my gear-headed neighbor was "done right". I am not a mechanic and was pleased to know. It starts very quickly and drives straight with no pulling, goes through the gears when shifting with no problem. It is a tough old truck and fun to drive. If you are buying it you know what you are getting , it is used and is sold as is. If you need or want an inspection , I will be glad to allow that to happen. You are responsible for the shipping of the truck. I am not a car flipper or car trader, just looking to get the truck to a good owner.
