Wrecked my Vstrom Christmas Day. Bike has a strong running motor, Two Brothers exhaust, and less then 1000 miles on a new 530 conversion drive assy. The bike also has been dynoed along with an installed Power Commander with custom map. This bike is repairable, and most parts can be found either new, or on ebay through salvage yards..............in fact, I have found all it needs. To me it is not worth the money it needs to get it back to shape. I figure someone out there can disassemble it and part it out. I do not want to mess with it, nor do I have the time too. Starting bid 500.00, and pickup only in Saint Louis, Missouri. Good luck!On Jan-14-13 at 14:10:22 PST, seller added the following information: UPDATE 01/14/2013 I have added a few more pictures at the request of many interested parties showing more detail of the damage. I have disassembled the fairing assy to inspect for secondary damage to the front end, ie the upper/lower trees, and the steering head assy/frame attach point. The trees appear good with no cracks as well as the frame. The picture of the parts on the table, are all good usuable parts. The parts on the floor are not, with the exception of the right side cowl. The cowl is scratched, but all the mounting lugs are intact. The air vent on the cowl needs to be replaced. The headlight/dash assy mounting frame appears to be tweeked a bit at the center lower bolt up point, and the right side upper fairing mount which can be seen in the picture. All the gauges and readouts work perfect. There are small dents on the tank, but the tank bra covers up all of it. The radiator side cowl mounting lug shown in the picture is bent aft and dented into the radiator...................the radiator does not leak. I am affraid to straighten it due to the possibility of cracking the rad.................but for now its solid with no leaks. There is zero damage to the underneath of the engine/oil cooler and exhaust system leading aft to the swingarm. Both sides of the engine are intact. There is a small dent shown in the picture, on the right side Two Brothers head pipe leading up to the can. The right passenger foot peg was bent into that pipe and dented it. The entire right riders foot pegs/mount is sheered off and gone.......the brake pedal assy and mounting hardware is still there. Zero damage to the frame, just the pegs mount. The perch mount for the front brake master is half gone and needs replacement................the master and lever is good. The hand guard is trashed. The bars seem to be straight, and are not stock bars...................the bars are in fact Honda 700 4 wheeler bars. I am tall and they brought up the bars about 2.5 inches. In summary, to get this bike rideable, the very least it needs are as follows. Front forks, front wheel/rotors, right master perch, and the entire foot pegs assy including the brake pedal. I would also replace the steering stem bearing for good measure................it took a hit in the front pretty hard. If your not concerned about looks and want a rat bike, those parts will get you there.......... Hopes this helps............ I have the stock Suzuki exhaust mufflers, the stock back rack, a stock clear windshield, and a factory Suzuki service manual which will be included with this purchase...........................
