Vehicle Detail
Up for bid is my 1987 Toyota Turbo Diesel Pickup. The truck has a swapped Mitsubishi Mighty Max Turbo Diesel engine, and a Mitsubishi transmission and transfer case. The truck is a 4x4 body but as a result of the swap the 4 wheel drive was not connected due to the transfer case and the front drive train not lining up, although all of the mechanical parts are still intact. The only thing missing is the drive shaft that connects the transfer case and the front axle. The truck runs and drives great as is but with a little mechanical ability you could get the 4 wheel drive connected again. The truck comes with new Toyo tires and wheels with roughly 1,000 miles on them that were $1,700 new (have the receipts to prove), a new alternator and belt, new custom 2 1/2 inch exhaust, CD player, CB radio, a bed liner, a boost gauge, and it has power steering. There is NO AC, this truck never had AC to begin with. As for the interior, there are a few tears in the seat, and a few in the head liner, the carpet kit is missing, the dash board is in tact and all of the gauges work except the fuel level gauge which works intermittently. The body is in pretty good condition for most of the Toyota trucks of this era with a few rust spots and some paint chipping in some spots, and only a couple of small dents which can be seen in the pictures. Overall the truck is really fun to drive, gets about 30-35 mpg on the highway, has a lot of power for a 4 cylinder, and runs on bio fuels. Not to mention with the 2 1/2 exhaust it sounds like a big 8 cylinder diesel. Feel free to message me with any other questions you might have. Thanks for bidding and good luck!
