I bought this Scout from a mans wife in Nebraska. He bought the truck in 1984, but until this year, set in the garage since 1992. He passed away some time ago. It had rust in all the usual plases and some more than others. I put new floors, new rocker panels. new patch panels in front lower Qt panels, one end cap, welded in new rear center body mounts and repaired other rust areas including rebuiling rear wheel wells. The frame is in good condition and I tried to under coat the best I could. The inside floors ars are all rinoed. New floor mats. This Scout came frome the factory with a bench seat and a bulkhead. But it came factory with a fill top. It is the first one I have ever seen. I put the hard top on after the last auction. Both tops come with the Scout. The soft top has a couple of holes in it and I patched them. The hard top is in good shape, but has had some rust at the lower edge on the right side. Truck was painted about six weeks ago. All the gauges work, including the gas gauge. I replaced the gas tank with one out of a 79. The clutch is in great shape. The brakes are new all the way around including master cyl. Has new tune up, oil and filter change and new battery. no oil leaks. The tires are the same ones that were on the Scout when I got it. Lots of tread but the are pretty old. The truck drive really good. Even with the snow tires. Starts easy and runs like a top. Brake lites, tail lites, turn signals, head lites and park lites work good. Horn is not working right now. I put a new windshield and wippers on. Rest of glass is good. Dash has one crack and the seat has one small tear. Needs rear shocks and if you are going to keep the soft top on, it should have a roll bar. New tag and title. Thanks for your time.
