Vehicle Detail

This car comes with quite the story. I purchased this car from my uncle who was the second owner in 1998. He purchased it from a dealership where it started its life as a loaner. He put 124,000 of the 149,000 miles the car has on it. I put 10,000 and the fourth owner put 10,000. I sold the car a year after I purchased it to a friend. He drove it for three years then parked it in a garage where it stayed until I took ownership once again this year. She has spent the last ten years in a time capsule. When I got the call to look at it after 13 years, I dropped everything to go. The funny thing about this whole story is this car has spent the last 13 years less than 30 miles from my house. When I saw it for the first time I couldn't believe my eyes. The car was almost the same way I left it(ALMOST). The paint was a little rough and it had a couple of dents that were not there before I sold it. Now here comes the kicker. I poured a gallon of 93 in and turned the key. Much to my disbelief she started right up, no smoke, no nothing! Just the smooth idle of a late model 5.0.Once I got it home I went to work right away. I pulled all the dents(I think), replaced the clutch and fuel filter. Did a full tune up, completely gutted the interior. Power washed everything, sanded and primed all rust spots. In reference to rust, there is very little. There is only one small quarter sized spot on the hatch the has rusted through. Every other spot was just very minor surface rust. The underside of the car is in great condition. The shorty headers I installed in the 90s and the rest is catted 2.5" with flowmasters which is newer. Aside from some other bolt ons the car is 100% stock.Everything else I'm going to list also took place in 1998. Bbk progressive rate springs / alignment. Front struts and rear shocks, passenger side pinion arm. Weiand water pump with three core radiator. Under drive pulleys and a k&n filter. The transmission was rebuilt in 1998 as well, but has a syncro issue that it has had from the day it came back from the shop. It is only noticeable with a down shift to first. If you shift to second then first you never notice it. The clutch and fly wheel are new with zero miles. Now that I have written a novel over the sale of this car here is the real deal.It runs perfectly, but needs headlight bulbs and a battery. It will also need a new speedo cable as I broke the old one replacing the clutch. The tires are old, but have 3/4 tread and the brakes are the same. I drive the car around the neighborhood just to keep it fresh. I would not hesitate to drive this car 50 miles, but further than that you should have a plan in place. The car HAS been sitting in a garage the last 10 years. I have a clear title in hand. On Jan-12-13 at 19:34:43 PST, seller added the following information: An electric fan is currently installed, but I can switch it back to clutch if buyer requests.
