Up for auction is a 1982 Honda FT500 Ascot, It is a very low mile survivor with only 7027 miles that has been garage kept its whole life. It has a clear Texas title. This bike is in fantastic condition and runs great. The engine has had a kick start shaft installed, and all seals and gaskets replaced including the valve seals and all engine gaskets. The electric start works great, the paint is original, the front fender has some paint lifting as seen in the photos, the tank has a small shallow dent and can be seen in the photo also. Everything works as it should, the gauges are like new with no fading. The tool box has a complete set of original Honda tools, the owners manual is in like new shape in its pouch behind the side-cover. The rectangular headlight assembly has been replaced by a much nicer looking honda round headlight and bucket. The seat is mint with no flaws, the chain and sprockets are nice with no wear, It has good rubber with 90% tread, The brakes work great and the pads are like new, it has stainless braided brake lines front and rear. there is no rust anywhere, the exhaust is dent and rust free. You would have to look far and wide to find a better FT500. A $500 deposit is required within 48 hours of auction ending. The buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and costs.
