This classic is definately one for collectors or, for true Chevrolet enthusiasts. It is the commerative retro-looking, ALL ORIGINAL 2005 Chevrolet SSR. The host of Tool Time would grunt about the horsepower and added torque the SSR picks up from the Corvette sourced LS2 6.0L V-8. With the Tremec six-speed manual gearbox, the only thing retro about this bad boy is its look. This classic is rated from zero to 60mph in 5.3 seconds and does the quarter in the 13.8's. It is all classic in its sweet looking design as a Roadster - Truck, but it is all about performance under the hood and with the suspension. The nifty tri-fold power hard top is too cool to resist, even on a winter day.

The six-speed manual transmission shifts flawlessly and smoothely without any synchronizer noise. The 2005 was upfitted with a 14-bolt (9.5 inch ring gear) heavy duty rear end with an Eaton locker differential.
