1970 Morgan 28 Sailboat Location: Solomon's Island, MD Specifications: Builder: Morgan LOA: 28.5 LWL: 23’ 10” Beam 9’3” Draft 3’6” Headroom 6’ Displacement 8000 lbs Ballast 3200 lbs Mast Height 39’ 9” Description: The Morgan 28 has a wide beam making for good live aboard accommodations below. There is a large double V-berth forward, salon table converts to a double and quarter berth aft. Full length galley to starboard gives plenty of room for meal prep. Private enclosed head to port. Stout rig with a keel stepped mast. Condition: I am selling this boat for the owner. I’d be glad to answer any questions, but have limited knowledge of the vessel. Overall condition appears to be in sailable condition. I did not notice any soft spots on deck when taking pictures (I am not a survey so please do not take my opinion). I have not seen the bottom so cannot comment, last haul out was over a year ago. Cabin sole shows wear. I have not tested engine but was told that the engine was in working order and winterized prior to winter layup. She was not run or used this past season. Storage: Additional winter storage in the water is available from the marina in Solomons, MD for approximately 160.00 per month.
