2005 PASSAT GLS WAGON TDI Here is the low mileage Passat wagon you have been searching for. The graphite blue paint is a very attractive color on a wagon and with this paticular Passat being so well cared for you would be hard pressed to find a nicer example. Inside is also very nice showing very little signs of wear, the only flaws I see being on the left side of the rear seat it looks like there was a careless smoker who droped something(pic enclosed) and the typical VW door pannel covering is a little saggy. I do not believe this car was a smokers car, I'm guessing a teenager was allowed to take the car one night and he/she had a careless friend, I see or smell no other signs of smoking. Mechanically it's tip top, it just had the original chained balance shaft module replaced with the new factory upgraded gear'ed module which is very important on these cars (if you are unaware of this ask me) along with a new timing belt service including water pump and tensioners. If you have never experienced a TDI Passat you are in for a treat. The 2.0L TDI makes very good power while just sipping fuel. These cars will get around 40MPG out on the highway and mid 30's in town regularly. This is a true German built car that was designed to run the Autobahn, it's truly a pleasure to drive. Inside is very well equiped with heated seats, Ice cold A/C, glass sunroof, A/M F/M stereo w/cassette and CD, power windows, central locks, tilt, cruise and rear defrost. It's sitiing on 2 new Continental Pro Contacts on the front and matching roughly 80%'ers on the rear with factory alloy wheels. If you are looking for a safe, full sized car that gets exceptional fuel mileage this is it, you don't have to cram yourself into a hybrid or electric powered over priced tin can, you can drive in style in a high quality German built premium wagon while still saving money on fuel.
