1966 Chevy II Nova Engine- 350 cui sbc, dart pro 1 aluminum heads, harland sharp roller rockers, edelbrock aluminum polished intake, holley 770 street avenger carb, forged pistons. comp 286h cam, ceramic coated headers, holds 60 psi oil pressure, sounds great runs on pump gas and has tons of power its definately no slouch but its very tame and easy to drive. The car has dyno max mufflers with 3 inch exhaust, also have manual cut outs. Trans- turbo 350 with shift kit and heavy duty internals, 2800 stall converter, shifts smooth no issues, has a b&m ratchet shifter Rear end- 10 bolt with a 3:55 gear, has rear sway bar Front end suspension- Heidts mustang II front clip, flamming river rack and pinion steering, disc brakes, steel brake lines, steel inner fenders, drives like a dream these front ends are the only way to go on the 62-67 novas Body- This nova as far as i know had not been out of the state of california since it was new until i bought it this fall, so it has a rust free body. The floor and trunk pans are perfect originals with no holes and not even a scabby spot, you can really tell its been in a moisture free climate. The car was painted about 10 years ago. To be a show car its going to need a paint job. The paint is coming off on various places on the car the roof being the worst, im including pics of the areas. The has is not a bondo bucket the only areas ive found bondo are the lower quarter panels and the a pillar has some bondo where they used lead on it from the factory. The car is very straight, all the body lines and gaps are nice. The car has paint bubbles on the rockers infront of the tires on both sides and above the rear tire on the passenger side. The panels appear all original. The rockers are rock solid. The best explanation for the body is in the pics, Dont bid on the car if you plan on the paint being perfect it needs attention. Wheels/Tires- 17 inch chrome torque thrust wheels, they are in good shape but need polished to be perfect, The 2 front tires may need balanced they shake around 60-65 mph i noticed the weights that were on it were stick on and have fell off. Interior- The interior is older but still looks nice, the car has bucket seats, the seat covers were put on some time ago, the drivers side has a wore spot i planned on replacing them with the original style anyway. The carpet is ok for a driver it has a few bad spots but still looks ok, the car has a good headliner and dash pad, The car has all the seat belts in it. The dome light still works as do the dash lights. The headlights,taillights,turn signals all work as they should. Glass and chrome trim- The glass is in nice shape, the chrome is good for a driver it shows its age in some places but looks nice overall, the bumpers look good but the rear bumper is starting to surface rust around the license plate but may clean up with steel wool. The grille looks good also This car will make someone a great little nova, i bought the car to do a ls swap on and make it a street strip car i changed my mind because i just cant bring myself to tear it apart its too good of a car. I have been using it as driver on nice days i love it, the car still has the california black plates. I have the car for sale locally so i reserve the right to end the auction at anytime.
