What you are bidding on is a good running 1986 Honda Shadow vt1100c. This bike was bought in non running condition. I bought it in hopes to get it running and make it a great bike to ride. I have not gotten to ride it but around the block a few times after getting it fixed just recently. ( Bike manual and clutch tool are included in sale). Book was $40, Clutch tool was $75 and repair parts cost over $300. ( Pulse generator, clutch slave cyl. and a fuel pump. all got replaced to get bike running again). Replaced the gaskets also that needed replacing during repairs. Mileage shown and posted is as for my knowledge true and correct. I got the bike as shown in the pictures. The pipes are LOUD, VERY LOUD. but as you can see they do not extend out the back. The Battery is the only thing that is going to need to be replaced. I can jump start the bike but battery is dead. I do not want to replace at this time for 2 reasons but both combine to one. Being winter is here and it will not be ridden any time soon. And depending on where i sell to it most likely will sit for a couple months before being ridden. Paint is all original and all plastics are in great shape and are there. The back rest for passenger is also included. Seats are not ripped are are aftermarket so very comfortable. Custom made drag bars out of solid steel bar bent and milled for a comfortable ride. Bike has tune up done, ( new plugs carb adjustment fuel filter oil has been changed). Shaft drive. This bike will have a reserve because i do not want it going cheaper then what it is worth. Yes it is an 86 but this Particular year ( and the 85 ) was the only 2 years made this style and From what i gather most people say it is the best years because of style and power. I do recommend that the bike be towed or shipped back to buyer as it has not been taken on a LONG run since repairs and re running. Of coarse do what you like but it is just a recommendation.
