Car is being relisted due to non contacting bidder. Unmolested car, always garage kept. Gets great gas mileage, the body is straight and dent free. Transmission shifts strong, all options work. Comes with hard top and hard top stand with cover. Vehicle is very clean and can be driven anywhere. This vehicle originally sold for $74,250.00 this is a chance to own a luxury car at a fraction of the original factory invoice. We have owned the car for seven years and do not use it anymore. Small oil leak from cylinder head gasket, common issue to the 300SL motor. The car can be driven with the head gasket as is, we have had estimates of $800.00 to $1300.00 to replace the gasket. The vehicle is showing its age and the headliner in the hardtop is sagging. This is a twenty two year old vehicle with its original soft top. The top has one small tear in it about the size of a dime. The top hydraulics do not leak but occasionally my need hand pressure placed on the top to close it. The dash clock runs but cannot be set. Cassette cover handle is broken common issue with SL’s. Passenger side leather seat has small crack in leather about 1/2 long. If you have any questions email me and I will get back with you.
