1952 Cadillac Convertible. Golden Anniversary edition. EXCELLENT original unrestored condition. Solid body, excellent chrome and stainless. NO RUST ANYWHERE. Originally a California car, it has been in Arizona since the 1960's. So it is a dry, southwest car -- enough said! Solid floors, trunk, frame, rockers, etc. Body is in outstanding condition. Straight enough that it could be sanded, sealed and painted. All glass is good. Good body fitment and doors open and close very nicely. Presently not running, but engine turns over freely. I may try to get the engine running in the coming days. Looks like the engine has been rebuilt (but I can't confirm that). See the picture of the engine with one valve cover removed and note the lack of sludge on the head. Car is very complete and includes some spare parts (including a pair of NOS cast bumper exhaust inserts). Sarasota Green with original two-tone green leather interior (the leather is in remarkably good condition overall, but the seams have split wide open). Overall, a very good and solid car. Needs complete restoration, but you won't find a better car to start with. You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear and this is no sow's ear. Selling because I have one too many old cars. I am also offering a 49 Fleetwood and reserve the right to halt this auction if the other car sells first.
