This is a 1999 Volkswagen Jetta TDI with a five speed manual transmission. These little cars are known for their exceptional fuel economy and the ability to convert to a grease or vegetable oil burner. This one is mechanically sound and runs good. It has had the routine maintanence timing belt, and water pump replaced in the last 10000 miles. It has recently had a right window regulator and front hub bearing replaced. The car is currently in service so the mileage could vary. The mileage is 78570 but I am not sure if that is actual. It had 67 or 68000 on it when I bought it. The exterior looks good with the exception of somes scratches and a small dent on the roof. The interior has a worn spot on the drivers seat and the glove box latch is broken. An ebayer on here has brought to my attention that the mileage is incorrect. In my description I clearly stated that I was unsure if the miles were correct since I bought it from a used car dealer and I had no way of determining the previous records without car history. Frankly I did not care because the car was in good shape cranked and ran great. Since I bought it from a dealer without having any records that is why I chose to have the timing belt and necessary mainainence performed. In Georgia it was sold with the mileage exempt as do all vehicles over 10 years old. I will not guarantee the mileage to be correct and it will be sold as unknown. The car is in great mechnical condition. I DO KNOW THAT MUCH. Its a 1999 and its a used car and thats why I set the reserve low.Its good cheap transportation and worth every penny its bringing. So know that its not a 10000 dollar Jetta and it has no major issues. Look at my feedback!
