I have a 1962 bel air bubbletop one owner v8 1637 vin car for sale. I believe this is the most solid bubbletop in the world no joke. A gentlemen in Tennessee has a warehouse of really rare vehicles bought this car in 1962 and drove it until 1969 and parked in in his car warehouse. Unfortunately, he drove all his vehicles for a few years and then he would park them and later he would just strip them down and mark all the parts and set them aside. Yes this is strange and hell but is true. He would strip them down sand blast the whole vehicle and prime them up an then just let them sit there, He also takes the engines out and preserve them and i guess he has about 70 409 engines and about 50 348 engines. This car only had 18000 miles on it when i bought it. I tried to buy this vehicle for 5 years before i could purchase it. The way i got it is the gentleman now has parkinson disease and he is slowly narrowing his collection down. The car has been taken down to the bare metal and floor pan, trunk pan, and rear wheel wells were replaced by a well reknown restoration shop in alabama. It did not need any of this really but i was going to make a protouring car so i decided to just make those repairs. No I do not have an engine nor transmission for the car because I sold the original 327 and powerglide but i did have them. All the body work has been completed and all the blocking has been professional done. It need absolutely no body work nor blocking at all. I have had the firewall smooth and the gaps are just perfect. All the sheetmetal fits perfect and there is absolutlely zero rust in the vehicle. He had sand blasted the frame and he did not put any sealer on it years ago so the frame only needs to be primed and painted. I was going to just get me an Art Morrrison complete chasis done for pro touring. But this chasis is perfect with no rust at all it will almost scare you to see a car this solid and no rust issues at all. I had all the trim reanodized and repolished professionally and i have over 5000 in the trim work alone and about 8000 in the body work alone. Trim is immaculate and i have all the peices for the car nothing to my knowledge is missing. I wish you would come and see the vehicle in person and you will not be disappointed i promise this is a precious jewel. Now here is what needs to be done. Oh i do not have the windshield sorry. You will need to buy a glass set I have the glass but needs replaced and i have a perfect back glass. Interior kit, i have the interior but needs to be redone. Frame painted not taken off, motor and transmission, weatherstrip kit, wiring kit, brakes, rim and tires, paint job and just drive the hell out of it all the hard work has been done professionally.
