1991 Jeep Renegade is up for sale. This Jeep is like new and turns many heads! About $8k has been put into this Jeep in the last couple years! I have over $9,500 invested. I have a 2nd child coming and, sadly, I have no time to enjoy the Jeep. I drive the jeep a few miles a week on nice days. I go with no top in the summer so I only drive on nice days. The good: NEW transmission under warranty until 3/2013 (Jasper Warranty) Low mile engine was replaced about 3 years ago with a 2004 Rubicon 4L Inline 6 with 14k miles. It has about 25-30k now. The vehicle has 234k. No leaks! Garage is spotless. Idles PERFECTLY Fits FINE in my 7' garage with the hardtop on. CD player with USB hookup for thumb-drive Air conditioning (as if the wind wasn't enough) Spray on floor liner Built factory rears with 4:11 gears 35 inch Mickey Thompson wheels (great shape) Heavy duty steering bars Axle flip Passed VA inspection 4/12 and emissions inspection 7/12 Anytime something needs fixed I fix it! Trust me, I've got much more invested then I'll get for it. The bad: Starter has slipped a few times in the last few months. When it happens I try again and off I go. Cheap to fix just haven't had time. Battery gauge/meter in center console has a loose wire. If I care to, I just tap the console and it works again The ugly: See the last photo. My wife backed our Durango into the bumper and left a scratch. :( Just through the clear coat on the bumper, still black. What non Jeep people should know: This is probably not your everyday vehicle. Due to the height and tire size the center of gravity is high and you will feel most comfortable at 55mph. I've traveled several times at over 70mph but I prefer < 55 on the road less traveled to enjoy my Jeep time when I get it. :)
