Vehicle Detail
This auction is for a 1964 Oldsmobile Cutlass F85 2 door Hardtop. This a 4speed car with P steering and P Brakes and AC. It has bucket seats and console with tach. This car has been setting for a number of years, at least 15 and currently does not run. It is a 330 olds motor 4bbl with a muncie 4speed. Do not now the gear ratio but has sway bars front and back. This is a drum brake car. All the glass is good and the car was torn apart 25 years ago to restore but has just been setting around being stored from place to place. The only rust is the two body mounts in the trunk and the passenger front floor pan (See Pics). All other places you see are from surface rust from the paint being removed and no protection from the elements. The car has not run in years but had run in the mid 90's. The chrome trim and all the parts for the car go with it. The body work that was done behind the pass side door was done along time ago and that dent could be fixed and the filler removed. A replacement gas tank was just put in to replace the original that was rusted from setting. The tires and wheels are recent to keep it up on all fours. The tire's are nice and wheels are good. This would make an easy restoration it is a very solid car. I have a clear Missouri title. Again the car does not run and has not for a long time. If you have any questions please ask. I reserve the right to end auction early as car is for sale locally. On Dec-22-12 at 14:45:29 PST, seller added the following information: I was asked if the motor turns over I tried with a socket could not get good leverage but it would not move. I would say it would be best to go through motor. As I said its been sitting around a long time. This is a 66 model 330 motor according to the previous owner. It was running before it was parked years ago. Also I was asked about the crossmember and the rear control arms. This is a double hump crossmember and boxed lower rear control arms for the sway bar.
