Our family purchased this 1981 Mercedes 240D about a year ago, the engine was seized when we purchased the vehicle. We were able to free the motor with a bit of work and the car started and ran, the next evening the motor would not turn again. The car has 197,000 miles on it which is just breaking these cars in, and we are sad to see it go, we have moved recently and do not have the time nor facility's to work on the car, and it needs a good home. Everything else on the car appears to work fine, I have replaced the original radio and installed new rear speakers but still have the original unit.
