1978 Honda CB

Low mileage, unmolested factory original. Last year of the SOHC 750 fours. Original paint, fenders, undamaged seat, etc. The only exception is an aftermarket (OE-like 4-into-1) muffler. New chain, plugs, new Metzler tires. Currently not quite running, but that's from sitting. "Ran well when parked," as the saying goes. Excellent and even cold compression, builds oil pressure on the starter, etc. At some point the speedometer was replaced, so please note that the listed mileage (which is required by eBay) indicates the mileage showing on the used replacement odometer, not the actual mileage for this bike. The exact mileage is unknown, but I believe it's a lot lower, and the bike has covered very few miles since I replaced the original chain and tires, so draw your own conclusions. Very good original condition, but of course showing its age and 'patina.' All the electrics work. Has one broken side reflector near the headlight. I've been planning to rebuild the carbs, as it currently only runs, barely, on full choke, so I suspect they're in need of a good soaking and cleaning. Carb kits and/or parts are available from Honda and aftermarket. Needs a new battery. Needs front brake hydraulics cleaned and flushed and maybe rebuilt (the calipers stick a bit). A few new rubber and tune-up parts are included.
