Offered here is a premium 1948 Ford One Ton Dually. This vehicle is equipped with a 6 cylinder flathead engine and a manual 4 speed transmission. The thing that is so unique about this truck is that it has been sitting in a shed for 40 years. The owner had started the truck once in awhile to make sure the engine was okay. Then it ran out of gas. The gas tank filler was towards the wall side of the shop and he could not put gas in it; so it sat the remaining years as it is. The body has absolutely no rust. There are only 2 small dents in the back of the cab about the size of a 50 cent piece. The doors open and shut good. This truck even has the original firewall insulation on the inside that looks like new. It still has all the factory instrumentation, factory gauges, and behind the seat is a like new gas tank. They originally came out from the factory as blue color and it looks like brand new today. The seat is original, and it looks so good, like it's just been recovered. There were no rodents or traces of such found in this truck. The tires were brand new when he put this truck in the shed. The unique thing about this cab is that it is the same as a pickup cab. There are no wider fenders as most trucks have. All these parts are the same as a regular half ton pickup. The reason there are two broken windows is that while the truck was sitting outside, the neighbor kids threw rocks at it from the fence, so he put the vehicle in the shed for safe keeping.
