This past year, I have replaced the serpentine belt, battery (OEM), A/C compressor (OEM), water pump, alternator (OEM), and the coolant hoses, and crank pulley@ Gene Harvey Chevrolet) About 18 months ago- the dealer put in a NEW transmission at (Brent Brown Chevrolet) A NEW Vortec V2 Si was installed about 18 months ago as well ($7500 kit). It has intercooler and a custom $700 DeWitts radiator It has Billy Boat exhaust which is pretty dang loud but AWESOME!! About 6 weeks ago, I had the car at Extreme motorsports in Tempe, AZ for a West Coast Corvettes lowering kit. Paint is in awesome condition! There are (2) 12" Pioneer Premier subs in a custom paint-matching box, with a Fostgate amp. This car DOES have factory Navigation system with CD. I have faithfully changed all fluids at or before intervals suggested, I have put custom RUFF wheels on. 19'' in front, 20" in rear. The bad: seats are worn- I would get them re-done! They are shot! The plastic door trim is cracked (easy and cheap fix). Rear tires will pass safety, but getting low on tread (i think its safe to drive cross-country still). I only had 1 remote (but a new one on ebay for $60, its east to program yourself) The check engine light goes on/off periodically saying "THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR NOT LEARNED".... I think a wire may be loose on throttle....The heads-up display shakes in the windshield. Its a new windshield ($1800)- I think when installer put it in- he bumped a clip on HUD that made it loose. Just passed emissions/safety 3 months ago without any problems. Engine and tranny run VERY good- no problems at all. I bought this car with 5000mi from Carmax in 2007.
