The City of Springdale Ohio is offering for auction a 1996 Ford F350 Braun Box ambulance with a 7.3 liter diesel engine. This ambulance has been in service for the city since its purchase and we are the original owner. The ambulance has been maintained regulary and is in good working order. The vehicle is offered AS IS and does have two notible issues. The odometer is broken and currently shows 71,363 miles. In actuality and based on other mileage estimates of our other squads, it likely reflects an actual mileage of @150,000. Additionally, the door to the box on the passenger side currently sticks but we believe we can resolve this before pick up. This vehicle was recently taken out of service due to being replaced by a new life squad. There are three in the active fleet. This vehicle is in good mechanical order and would make someone a perfect multipurpose or entertainment vehicle such as for plumbing, HVAC or similar contractor service, DJ'ing or "fanbulance" for football tailgating. There is a reasonable reserve on the auction and we accept three forms of payment: Cash, Cashier's check or Paypal (preferred). At the conclusion of the auction, the winning bidder must make contact with us within three days and make payment within 10 days. The winning bidder is responsible for picking up the vehicle from the fire department. The vehicle may be inspected Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm or by appointment.
