Vehicle Detail

jforte Store 2001 Dodge Viper RT/10 CUSTOM MINT Condition!! For sale is my custom 2001 Dodge Viper RT/10 show car. This Viper is a very rare Sapphire Blue over Cognac leather interior. Sapphire Blue was ONLY offered in 2001 and is by far one of the most stunning colors this car has ever been made in. The pictures are very detailed and don’t hide anything. I have personally owned the car for over 3 years. I am good friends with one of the previous owners who owned the vehicle since almost new. This vehicle is completely documented with all records in a binder in order from date (will go with the car). The head technical advisor for the Viper Club of America and one of the worlds most well known and respected Viper Technicians Chuck Tator "the Viper Wizard" has serviced this vehicle for both myself and the previous owner who owned it most of its life. Absolutely no expense has been spared to make this car as amazing and immaculate that it is. Mr. Tator has just serviced this car 2 weeks ago and everything is perfect. I am personally an extremely meticulous car buff, the type of person who dusts the car off in the garage after every single use; any imperfections are ddressed immediately. Here is a little history on the car and some of the upgrades services that were done. Some history of upgrades/repairs: Complete Brand new OEM suspension shocks/springs all around. One corner alone without labor is $750. Chrome i-Forged Classic Rims (stock 18inch sizes). Each rim new cost over $1,000. So you have close to $5,000 in wheels. MGW parts – Short shift knob, chrome A/C knobs, chrome Ash tray, oil cap, and oil dip stick top. K&N Air Filters (just washed and re-oiled) Roe Racing Smooth Tubes Full Cat-Back Corsa exhaust ($2,000) Kicker door speakers (much better than stock!) After owning the car for about a year or so with over 60,000 miles. The original front fascia paint was not looking so good simply from rock chips/driving. Let me add now that the car has NEVER been hit any way shape or form or been in an accident. I removed the front fascia and took it to Indian Auto in Katonah, NY (they have re-painted and performed more custom paint work for Vipers in the north east than any other body shop). Again no expense was spared, I went to the BEST. They completely stripped the fascia down to the bare material, and refinished, primed, painted with multiple OEM paint coats better than Chrysler did when it was new, a flawless job (was in Indian’s shop for literally 3 months). The result was well worth it, came out perfect. The rest of the car is the original paint in absolutely gorgeous condition, detailed and waxed with only the finest products available. The other part of the car I was not completely satisfied with was the driver seat. Again from over 60,000 miles of use the leather driver seat from getting in and out was not looking "up to my standard" . I somehow was able to locate a brand new OEM Cognac Viper seat cover. I had the seat completely re-covered, so as you can see in the pictures the driver seat looks brand new. This car is never driven in bad weather and is waxed/detailed regularly. I change the oil every 500-1,000 miles with only Mobil 1 Synthetic, and that’s done at least twice a year depending on usage. The oil never sits for more than 6 months in the car even if only 500 miles are put on the car. So the car runs, drives, and looks amazing, and needs absolutely nothing. The only thing I can really point out that I would do if I kept the car is to have the Driver side rear wheel re-chromed. A piece of the lip is bubbling. Because the rims are so expensive I-Forge will re-chrome any of their wheels for $150. So it’s not an expensive fix at all. Even the tires have most of their tread on them. I purchased the car and modified/took care of it with the intention of keeping it forever. Why would I sell such an amazing and rare gem? Unfortunately my divorce drives the sale. It’s not forcing me to (so please don’t low ball me thinking I am desperate), it just doesn’t make sense financially for me to keep it at this point with what I am dealing with. To recap, the car has 64,000 miles on it but you would NEVER know that unless you looked at the odometer or I told you. It looks, drives and is as mechanically new as a car with a tenth of the mileage. Bottom line someone is going to truly get an amazing vehicle. Vipers that are not properly maintained can be major money pits. Bid with confidence that you are buying this car from the best type of person to own one of these unlike a lot of Viper owners who really don’t know what they have and don’t take care of it properly. Email me any questions I will get back to you ASAP with responses. Good luck!
