Up for auction is a beautiful Volkswagen Beetle classic. It is a 1960, easily verified with the VIN. It was placed on non-op earlier this year prior to the plates expiration. All DMV fees have been payed for it, so no need to worry about that. No smog is necessary so that is a plus. The car is in good condition, and would make a great project. There is visible rust, as show in the pictures, but VW parts are extremely accessible, so anything you need you will find, which makes it a great beginners project. The rust spread mostly on the windshield corners and around the pan. Look at my pictures CLOSELY. The battery pan is new, but has not been properly replaced. Has the original gas tank, and both original front and rear aprons. It is a clean title. The interior dash has had some changes done to it, but can easily be restored to its original state or be kept if you please. The transmission and engine are both present, but the engine is off the car since we took it down to repair but never got to it. We bought a lot of NEW engine parts, so it is complete no parts missing and a lot of extra parts. I bought a NEW head and the other one is repaired. bought the NEW exhaust for it as well. There are MANY EXTRAS I will throw in. I have an extra rear lid in case you don't like the cool louvered ones that it has. I also have a NEW rear apron, if you wish to replace rather than repair. I will throw in both NEW window elevators, and NEW door handles. It has brand NEW brakes, NEW drums and a NEW master cylinder. All windows are intact no cracks. There is still much work to be put into this car, but it is a car with a lot of potential, to be a classic or custom beetle. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments.
