This is a 1953 ford f-100, i bought the truck about 3 years ago and pulled it off a farm with the original flathead and 4 speed, it was a good project truck, first thing i did was sell the flat head and 4 speed, then i removed the stock straight axel and put a 78 camaro front clip on the truck, it now has power steering and disc brakes, the clip was installed good. Next i put in a 350 small block chevy with bowtie angle plug cylinder heads, edelbrock aluminum intake, holley 750 double pumper, mild cam, long tube headers, mallory ignition, and afco aluminum radiator. I used a turbo 350 for the transmission, its got all the good internals and a shift kit, i used a lokar shifter also, Next i had a custom aluminum fuel cell made that sits under the bed, The truck also has a painless wiring kit. The truck has a 9 inch ford rear end with a 4:10 gear. I just got the truck back from the body shop and had it put in semi gloss black, It has a new rear fender,there is no rust on the truck it is all solid, the black looks good and the body isn't rough the paint is nice and smooth, the truck has 17 inch torque thrust wheels also, the tires are worn on the front but the backs are good. The truck is still a project and is not road worthy yet, however i have done all the hard work for you, it will start and run and parking lot drives, the main things the truck will need, Front and back glass( cracked), bed floor,interior finished ( i have the original bench seat), headlights/taillights wired, and just odds and ends. I have a clear title for the truck in my name. I have not touched the truck in 6 months i just dont have the time to finish it my loss is your gain.
