fordman1302 Store Thanks for looking at my bronco! If you are looking at this you know how hard it is getting to find a nice, clean bronco without paying a small fortune for it. That's exactly what this one is; it isn't a show truck but it is one you can enjoy everyday whether its a weekend warrior, daily driver, or store it and watch the value climb! Rust free: This bronco was under coated when new so the undercarriage is nice and rust free. The only spot of rust that's ever been on it is the lower tailgate. It was just surface rust that was repaired and barely noticeable now. It looks like bubbles but they are hard to the touch and have not got any worse in the two years that it has been painted. Very few flaws: You will not find many flaws with this bronco as its been well cared for its whole life; 87000 original miles doesn't hurt the fact either. It is almost 17 years old so it does have a few issues; mainly ones that didn't bother me enough to fix them. The ABS light is on; I tried to have it diagnosed but the scanner wouldn't read any codes and I never pursued the problem any further. The tailgate keyed switch for the window doesn't work but the button on the dash does. And the speaker on the drivers door doesn't work but the rest do. There is a crack on the drivers side rear cargo pocket (pictured); and the drivers seat has a few cigarette burns and a spot where someone sat down with something in their pocket (also pictured). It has not been smoked since i have owned it and there is no trace smoke smell (trust me, I would know, I am allergic) Features: This bronco is equipped with a powerful 5.8l V8 that runs great with no issues. The automatic transmission shifts tight and smooth like it should; and the manual transfer case on the floor shifts into four wheel drive flawlessly without having to worry about the problematic electronic push button 4x4. 3.55 gears with a limited slip rear end are perfectly fit for this rig. It also features warn manual lock in hubs for added reliability. Power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, lumbar support, air conditioning, and clean cloth seats make up the interior to make it a nice place to be. All the power features work like new. New Parts: I installed new rotors and pads on the front brakes; and new shoes, spring kit, and self adjusters on the rear brakes so they are all new and just broken in. The tires are new with less than 5,000 miles on them. It also has a new alternator and idler pulley (the new idler pulley is not in the pics). It has also been recently inspected in the state of West Virginia with no issues (I took the pictures about three months ago before it was inspected). Exterior: The body of this bronco is very clean with only two small dents I found that are barely noticeable. It has a fresh shiny paint job that looks great. It was painted because the clear coat was coming off; not because of an accident. I took lots of pictures so check them out and good luck bidding, thanks! I wanted to add that I am only selling my bronco because my wife is due in Febuary with our first child. To be honest; I bought the bronco in the summer of 2010 with the intent to clean it up and resell it because it was in great shape with low miles, no rust, and great factory options. The only issue it had was the clearcoat fade and a few other little things (nothing mechanical just cosmetic). My plans changed, however, when after I fixed it the way I wanted it I "fell in love with it" so to speak. I put about 14000 miles on it while i have owned it with no problems and it is a joy to drive. Title is clean and in hand! A few final thoughts: In the pictures you saw the transmission pan that looked abnormally clean. Thats because it was leaking around the pan seal because the bolts were loose. I fixed it by running a bead of gasket maker around the edges and then tightening the bolts; I cleaned the pan off so i could see if the leak came back or not but it has not. To my knowlege the fiberglass top has never been removed and there are no water leaks inside. Also in some of the pictures white dots showed up but they are just wax residue or dust. If you have any questions about anything make sure you ask them! I tried to cover everything and be honest and straightfoward so you know exactly what you are bidding on. Thanks and have a great day!
