Hi there, For sale is a near mint 1991 Porsche Carrera 4 Targa. If you are looking at this car than you know what it is so i'm not going to explain how important this car is in Porsche history. It is a 3.6 liter boxer engine with a 5 speed manual transmission. The car is in an excellent condition inside and out. The car has only 51551 miles as of today 11-17-2012. It is a black metallic color on the outside with gray leather interior. The car is a Targa wich means the portion of the roof comes off and can be stored in the front trunk and it is also Carrera 4 which means its all wheel drive. The car hasn't been in any accidents and it is straight and solid as when it was new. features include dual airbags, power four-wheel disc brakes, speed-dependent extendable rear spoiler, heated windshield washer nozzles and outside mirrors, automatic full climate control, reclining bucket seats with electric height adjustment, one-key central locking and alarm system Last week i changed the transmission oil , installed a new battery and changed the motor oil at Porsche of South Barrington. As you will see in the photos the car has been taken good care of and is original car with no modifications. It drives straight , the brakes ar at 80 % as they checked last week in a Porsche dealership in Barrington. The reason i'm selling a car is because i just bought a house and i have to sell some of my toys. I also own a 2012 Porsches but this one is the most fun to drive. Today i took a car to wash it and my daughter went with me and she was so sad that i decided to sell the car. I have had sold my other Porsche Boxster on ebay a couple years back. All the stickers are original and in place. The front hood sticker, on the front left fender on the inside sticker for color and engine stickers are all intact. They are important and show you that the car hasn't been in an accident and no paint work has been performed on the car. All books and tools will come with the car as well as 2 keys . The engine is a clean and solid and the car feels like a 51 k car. I like metallic color which is a very nice in the sun. The leather is in good condition and the seats have black lining on edges which is pretty neat. The radio is original Blaupunkt and works excellent. It's got power mirrors and seats, central locking system and dual airbags. I am a private seller and the car is parked at my place of business and the zip code there is 60089 if you have to check how much the shipping will cost you. I dont offer any warranty and the buyer is responsible for shipping of the vehicle . Please have the funds ready and if you win the car it requires $ 1000.00 non refundable deposit as soon as the auction ends. I just don't understand why would someone bid on something if you dont have money to pay for it. I guess i'm not a person like that and i cant figure out people that are like that. Just an original car in an excellent shape. No stories and not one of these cars with rebuilt engines or other stuff. I have a 2012 porsche and before that i had many others and non of these cars ever needed engine to be rebuilt. It has 51 k miles and a maintenance book with stamps , no dings, never smoked in and never been in an accident. Please dont bid if you dont have intention to buy it or dont have money to pay for it. I have several exotic cars and i would never drive a junk car and the car thats not as perfect as possible so you can be assured that if you buy this car its going to perform as if should. Also you have to love and understand cars like this, they will drive differently than new cars, they will feel different than my 2012 porsches but at the same time its so much fun and joy you just dont get from new cars anymore.
