Hello I recently purchased this 1980 Silverado from a widow , Her husband before he passed away , has spent alot of time and money making this a beautiful truck , I have over $13,000 in receipts, The truck was nice to begin with looked like all it might have done is hualed a camper I removed the slide out bumper and installed the Fey chrome bumper, The engine is a new Vortec 350 HP $3000,00 four barrel carb , new clutch,radiator,Optima Battery,Starter front end is tight drives down the road like a new truck,I have a stack of mechanical receipts purchased at Camp Chevrolet In Spokane the engine was purchased there as well.Les schwab Radial TXR tires 60% even tread wear nice wheels $1200.00 looking at receipts everything was done about 20,000 miles ago, nice sounding dual exhaust, Body &Paint was $6500.00 done at Daves Auto Body In Rockford ,Wa. very reputable bodyshop in our area, Painted 6 years ago, Paint is excellent. box was removed painted nice between cab&box all trim was removed ,I have a Work Order with over a100 line items on it. new door seals were installed new tinted C.R. Lawrence quality slider installed .When I drive this truck people comment how nice of looking Pick-up it is "She's a Looker" Interior is very clean and original Tilt wheel ,AM/FM,Gauges, Dual tanks ,A/C that about spits out ice cubes .works excellent as well as Heat every thing works on this truck as it should. I am leaving the seat the way it is ,it has a couple minor tears from wear, Maybe some one would want to do cloth very nice seat other than the small tears , Red carpet is clean a little weak in a couple of spots , top of door panels are faded a little. Very clean, tight ,cab, The box of the truck has no dents ,however there is some corrosion from something be spilled in the back. I may paint the box, or bedliner, or Rhino Liner, I am honest at what I am representing.I would rather see originality than covered up. The truck needs nothing mechanically just Bed ?? and seat Repair? I have this truck licensed and insured It is so nice that I do not want to get it dirty. Just to reinforce the quality of this truck!!!
