Here is a 1968 PONTIAC GTO 242 PROJECT CAR thats runs and drives with brakes.This GOAT has a 1965 389 casting numbers 9778789 YF CODE BLOCK with 1968 intake. The trans is a 400 automatic. the rear is 3;23. This goat was a AIR CONDITIONER car with power steering power brakes rear defroster reverb and a clock in the dash was colume shift car now in the floor. The exhaust system is good no leaks,the goat was on the road in 2006 found in a barn waiting to be rescued.The floors need some patch work .Around the front windshield looks good except for a place near the window small hole,the rear window looks good no holes. The trunk is in great shape. The deck lid not good. The fenders at the bottoms have rust like most GTO'S.The doors are really nice no rust on the insides.The hood as most is bowed on drivers side and missing one scoop tring to locate a scoop , the hinges are good and straight. The quarter panels have some rust as most.This GOAT was APRIL GOLD METALLIC with GOLD interior. most of the originial paint is in the jambs. This GOAT has a set of 14x7 PONTIAC RALLEY WHEELS. On Nov-28-12 at 10:37:48 PST, seller added the following information: Here is a little more information on this 1968 GTO the car does have the sport wood wheel,came with a remote mirror which i did find for the gto, i do have the front door panels but they are in bad shape but have the gto emblem and trim that you would need for the new door panels there is a1969 console and shifter in this goat the floors need replaced.All the glass is good and tinted.The headlights and tailights burn with brake lights that work and front marker lights burn too.This is a project car that needs work as always but is a good start if you want a GOAT IN THIS PRICE RANGE that will run and move on its on power.The only missing piece is one hood scoop everything else is on the car.I even have the keys to this 68.Please call if you have any questions on this GTO again i will be glad to answer all of them,and good luck bidding on this PROJECT GTO.
