Many PICS below! A quick video shot by the previous owner of the car starting and running: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kYFa-CXECQ This is a 325i, not an M3. This is the second round on ebay and it didnt quite hit my reserve. I have lowered the BUY IT NOW to almost the reserve. I require a deposit via paypal and the balance be paid through wire transfer or some other type of preferred method we can work out. Im selling my ’93 bmw 325i with the king of all japanese engines, the 2JZGTE mated to a mk3 turbo R154 5spd transmission (much stronger than the NA MKIV supra W158 5spd). This is a very very rare swap, probably only a few in the country, and possibly the only sedan. The majority of the car was built by a college friend of mine. A few years later, another one of my friends bought it. Then he decided to sell it, and I bought it. I bought it knowing the swap was done to a decently high standard. It looks as if it belongs there and most everything I looked at was done really well. It takes months to years and a lot of research/knowledge and work in order to complete a swap like this. All the hard items were sorted out, now it just needs mods to be a beast. It’s a perfect sleeper and will impress all your friends with its uniqueness. It starts, runs, and drives very well. It has run 11 psi boost since the build and i still run that level. Speedo, tach, fuel gauge, coolant temp, oil pressure, and boost gauges all work really well. Most other things work like wipers, lights, handbrake, windows (except driver window)etc. It cruises at 80mph on the highway really well with no weird drivability issues and I have put about 1000 miles on it since I bought it. The brakes work great too. Its a very daily drivable car if you dont need HVAC or a radio. I don’t really want to sell as I see the major potential with this car, but I don’t really have the devotion to make it the way I want it. I have too many other cars that take up my time and since building my “dream car” I have lost interest in my other cars including this one. Engine/Tranny/Suspension: *2jzgte from an aristo (typical JDM engine mileage ~50k approx), however most aspects that made it an aristo engine has been swapped to USDM mkIVsupra spec. Only thing left that is aristo are the cams. No smoke, consumption, or leaking of fluids from the engine. No abnormal knocks, ticks or noises. The engine is very sound and pulls very nicely. *USDM mid sump oil pan *USDM supra twin turbos *USM supra 6spd ECU/injector resistor pack/MAF *basic tune up including timing belt, USDM water pump, new boost hoses, etc. *M3 LSD differential *MK3 supra turbo R154 transmission with 1jz bell housing *new spec clutch and accessories *custom driveshaft *custom 3” exhaust with catalytic converter to a performance BMW cat back system *M3 shocks and H&R lowering springs *large oil cooler *Nice front mount intercooler Body/Interior: *MOMO "tuner" wheel with hub *Interior is nice, seats have normal wear, but no rips or tears, they are still soft and in decent condition. All the interior panels are included like A and C pillars, center console, and misc *M3 contour wheels with hankook ventus V12 tires with plenty of tread *basically stock 325i with ok paint. It shines pretty well except for the hood which has clear coat flaking and small corners of the trunk. It would be pretty presentable with a different hood. I wanted to do a m3 front bumper if I kept it. Issues: While the car has a lot of potential it isn’t without its issues. *drivers side window doesn’t roll down, its due to clips that hold the glass, they broke while in my ownership. *no HVAC or radio. The second friend who owned it decided to make it into a quasi track car, but I have most of the HVAC items to put back into it. It would need custom AC lines and a 2JZ compressor to have AC. i do have the heater core, vents, and many other ac and other cooling parts that are included with the car pictured below. *some of the interior bits are not installed including center console, I have all of these in boxes for the new owner to install at their leisure. *I think the radiator is slightly undersized. It is currently a MK3 standard radiator, I drove it all throughout the summer, and it gets pretty hot in Utah. It definitely runs on the warm side normally (195-200F) and under certain conditions like being stuck in traffic or going up a severe canyon it would creep up to about 230F and when this happened I would shut her down for a bit. It only did that a few times, but I have read everywhere that 2jz’s run on the hotter side anyway so it didn’t worry me. The car wouldn’t hurt getting a larger radiator or some hood vents. I do have a mishimoto M3 radiator w/fan that is included to try out to see if it helps the cooling. That is really it for issues. This car has a ton of potential and really needs someone who is mechanically inclined and will do their own work. Don’t buy it if you are just someone who is going to take it to a shop for everything. It needs someone with the time to turn it into a beast. Thanks for looking. Tom.
