Here's one to own - A 1968 CB450 Supersport with only 257 miles - not even one season of riding on this bike. The clocks show 257 miles & the previous owner stated it was the correct mileage. He said the story on the bike is that his brother bought it new late in 1968. The original owner actually rode it home in the snow and slush (he could not wait to ride it). Well, riding this bike in the cold Wisconsin winter is not exactly good for the old style batteries, he had overfilled his and got acid on the bike's swing arm, pipe, rear rim, etc... (can be seen in pics). It's not that bad, but he was so upset with this he washed it, changed the rear tire and parked it in the spring of 69 and never rode it again. He died in 1976 and his brother took over ownership of the bike, never rode it again- just moved from garage to garage over the years getting the typical storage bumps and bruises and some slight fading on top of the tank from sitting by the window, tach needle is broken but tach still works. Bike runs now and runs great. All electric items work on the bike, most of the clear on aluminum remains intact (on forks, carbs, engine etc). This bike is truly a shattered dream - purchased brand new and given up for a minor blemish. This bike appears original in almost every way - and with the mileage it is quite a find.
