Vehicle Detail
Body is in pretty good shape. Needs work around rear wheels and passenger rear quarter. There is some rust where rust should be. Car needs new rockers and floor pans. Has a straight 6 blue flame six in it. Motor does not start but is not seized up. Has no interior, seats, headliner, etc. Dash is original and intact. Glass is all there. Almost had the motor started but then started to prepare to swap for a small block. I cut some of the wires so until they are hooked back up, the car wont turn. Included is a free 6V battery for the car. I bought this with the intentions of turning it into a rat rod but I really dont have the time or room. Rims are American racing and in good shape. Very cool car with great character. I just had the starter rebuilt. I bought the car as my first project car but my lack of knowledge on some things and my demanding work schedule has prevented me from getting too involved. I think this could be a great restoration project or rat rod. If you have any other questions feel free to contact me and I will do my best to answer. Numbers on parts of the car are:Paint 445 Trim 201Body J-4418Style 51-1027 ****Updated Nov 18*****--Just a note, the original paint color of this car was Phantom Green, paint color 445. This car was obviously repainted by one of the previous owners the current burgundy color.--Also I do not have the original interior for the car. There were bucket seats that were installed in the car when I bought it but were improperly bolted to the floor pan which was rusted out anyways. I cut the seats out. I have seen original seats listed on eBay that can be purchased. --I dont have any extras with the car, there are 2 pieces of trim that were in the car when I bought it but I have no idea if they are for the car. When I bought it the previous owner had a box of parts but turns out they are for an old Pontiac. So I don't know if the trim is for this car or an old Pontiac. --Only other things that are included with the car that are not listed is a new 6V battery (bought 2 months ago, $100.00 value) and a really nice new shop manual book for the car (bought new online, $30.00 value). Has about every piece of info you need to work on this car, including wiring diagrams. --I should also note the front bumper is not attached to the car anymore but I do have it, minus the carriage bolts (which can be bought about anywhere). Bumper is sitting inside the car right now. --I dont know where and how much bondo is on the car. In one of the pictures you can see on the passenger rear panel there is a dent. I sanded down that area to start knocking out the dent (which can be seen in the other picture). When I did this I found some bondo around the wheel well. There were also small amounts above the wheel well where a previous owner repaired small dings. As far as the rest of the car, I have no idea where bondo may be.--Brakes will need some work. do not work at this time.--Previous license plate on car was stickered in 2009. So I assume the car was on the road 3 years ago.
