Vehicle Description: You are bidding on a 1976 MG Midget with a 1500cc engine with a valid Michigan title. The vehicle is partially disassembled. The engine and transmission had been removed and were rebuilt several years ago. The vehicle and all parts have been stored at this time but I have periodically turned the engine manually. To the best of my knowledge all parts are included to reassemble engine and transmission. Many new parts as well as manuals and catalogs are included in this auction. Conditions are as follows: Chassis:Exterior has been repainted at some time and is in good condition - could use detailing after reassembly. Body panels, trunk, floor panels show little to no rust. Exception is the front drivers door. Excellent foundation for a complete or partial restoration. Suspension, steering and brake systems are believed to be original. Convertible top includedOriginal luggage rackTires in good condition with little wear Engine:Rebuilt and long block assembled and painted with the following: Cylinders bored and honed to 0.20” over New pistons and rings Cylinder heads rebuilt with pressed-in hardened seats New camshaft and timing chain set Crankshaft turned and polished with new bearings New clutch and bearing assembly Resurfaced flywheel New fuel pump, oil pump, water pump, clutch, clutch slave cylinder, clutch cable and coolant hose Original - distributor, starter, alternator, radiator and cooling fan Transmission:Rebuilt and exterior painted Interior:Original and partially disassembled.
