1970 Ford Mustang Convertible Custom Show Car This car belonged to my dad and he recently passed away. He owned and operated a body shop for 50 years. This car is being sold for our mother. This car was one of his favorite projects. He showed this car in many car shows and cruises and won many trophies and awards. The car has been in the family since 1985. He restored and customized this car around 1991. The quality of his work speaks for itself, as you can see from the photos. It has led a garage life since. The motor and transmission have been replaced. The engine and transmission were rebuilt by a quaified professional mechanic at the time of the restoration. The engine is bored and has a custom cam. The car runs great. The photos show a Shelby air breather. The breather is an authentic Shelby but the engine is not. The mileage is true to the best of my knowledge, but we are not familiar with the car's history before 1985 The top was replaced at the time of restoration, however he rarely put the top up. The top is white and in good shape. The car is in overall very good shape and is ready to be driven and enjoyed.
